2026 Jr. Golf Camp K - 8 - Session 1

About: Junior Golf Camps at Duncan Hills are designed to help kids build skills, confidence, and a love for the game in a fun, supportive environment. Golfers in grades K–8 will learn and improve athletic ability through engaging instruction that covers all aspects of the game, including full swing, short game, rules, and etiquette. Campers are grouped by age and skill level to ensure a positive, encouraging experience for every player.   Schedule: June 1 – 4 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM   Fee: $80 per camper (Payment is due in the Duncan Hills Pro Shop on or before the first day of camp.)     Junior Golf Camp – Parent FAQ     When is payment due and how do I pay? Payment for golf camps is due on or before the first session of camp. Payment may be made in person at the Duncan Hills Pro Shop or by calling the Pro Shop ahead of time at 816-324-7575.   Where do we meet for camp? Camps begin promptly at 2:00 PM. Please meet on the east side of the clubhouse at the blue gazebo for check-in each day.   What should my child bring to golf camp?   A full water bottle (hydration starts the day before!) Sun protection, including sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or visor Comfortable athletic clothing and golf-appropriate shoes     Does my child need golf clubs? No. Golf equipment is available to borrow during each session. If you would like assistance with fitting or purchasing clubs for your junior golfer, please contact our professional staff — we’re happy to help.   Where does instruction take place?   Monday – Wednesday: Instruction takes place at the Duncan Hills Practice Area Thursday: Campers will enjoy an on-course experience, applying what they’ve learned in a fun, supportive setting     What is the weather or rain policy? Golf is an outdoor activity, and camps will be held in light rain or damp conditions when safe and appropriate. In the event that weather prohibits meaningful instruction (such as lightning or severe weather), Friday will be reserved as a make-up session for that week’s camp.
