Boulder Creek Golf Club   Player Profile In order to register for a NOGA Tournament, both players must have a Golf Genius Player Profile created.  Click Here to create your player profile if you don't have one already.   Doubles Golf State Championship Date: Tuesday, October 7th at Muirfield Village Golf Club. For qualifying teams only.   Format: 18-Hole Two-Person Scramble. All players will compete in both gross and net competitions and winners will receive gift certificate winnings sent to the NOGA member club chosen at registration. Teams are not able to win gift certificates in both gross and net.   Divisions: A, B, and C Divisions. Divisions are based on Team Ratings   A, B & C Divisions Men's (two players ages 25 & older) Women's (two players ages 25 & older) Mixed (one male, one female ages 25 & older) Senior's (two players ages 60 or older)   Divisions are determined by: For Existing Doubles Golf Teams:  Their current team rating For New Doubles Golf Teams: Their team rating will be determined by their GHIN handicap at registration.   Advancement to the State & National Championships: One team from each qualified category (Men's A, Men's B, Women's A, Women's B, Mixed A, Mixed B, Senior A, Senior B) will advance to the State Championship at Muirfield Village Golf Club.  Only Gross winners will advance to the Doubles Golf State Championship.  Note: Only team's with an "A" rating in a qualified category will have the opportunity to advance from the Doubles Golf State Championship to the Doubles Golf National Championship.   More information can be found at https://www.doublesgolf.com/   Starting Times Click Here to view the starting times. Starting times will be posted a couple days after registration closes.   Registration Dates Opens: Thursday, July 10 @ 7:00 a.m. Closes: Thursday, July 24 @ 11:59 p.m.   Net Division 35% of Golfer A’s handicap (Lower handicap partner) and 15% of Golfer B’s handicap (Higher handicap partner) will be added together to calculate the team’s handicap for the round. If the difference in partner Playing Handicap is greater than 10 strokes, we will reduce the higher Playing Handicap so that the difference between partners Playing Handicap is 10 strokes.   Entry Fee $250/team: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls and gift certificates. $260/team: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, gift certificates and optional $10/team Doubles Golf membership fee.   Field Size 100 Players (Subject to Change)   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players/teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   New This Year - Five Iron Golf Closest to the Pin Challenge Whoever hits the par-three tee shot closest on a select hole will be able to entertain friends or family for a fun trip to Five Iron Golf — at the Euclid Avenue downtown Cleveland location or at any location nationwide!   The $250 Five Iron gift certificate can be used for simulator time, food and beverages, club rentals, or lessons. The only thing it can't be used toward are memberships or club fitting. Plus, there is no expiration date on these gift certificates, so the winners can use them whenever they wish! This prize will go a long way to creating a great day trip or fun evening out.   Tees and Yardages  Men - Approx. 6,500 Yards Senior - Approx. 6,000 Yards Women - Approx. 5,300 Yards   Eligibility Entries are open to any amateur golfer holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 25 years of age on or before the date of competition. Click Here to see if your Club is listed.   Policies NOGA Hard Card NOGA Pace of Play Policy Doubles Golf Conditions of Play   Gender Policy The Northern Ohio Golf Association follows the USGA's Gender Policy.   Schedule of Events - The practice area will open one hour before the first tee time. - Starting times will begin at 8:00 a.m. - Please arrive at the first tee 10 minutes before your starting time ready to play. - Lunch will not be provided.   Ties In the event that there is a tie for the Doubles Golf portion the tie will be broken by scorecard matching.   Pairings and Requests Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Two teams from the same club will not be paired together to keep the competition fair.   Gift Certificates During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.   The Course - Boulder Creek Golf Club Boulder Creek Golf Club is built on 200 acres of spectacular land that was the end result of the ice age.
