92nd Waverly City Championship

THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO SELECT GOLFERS MEETING ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:  -Waverly Resident -Waverly Golf Course Season Pass Holder (excluding punch card)  -Waverly Country Club Member -Prairie Links Member   In 2022, we are combining the Waverly City Championship and the annual WAGOCO Men's Handicap Tournament to bring you an outstanding weekend! Over two days we will crown City Champions in the Open division, Senior division, Ladies division, Junior division as well as the brand new Men's Handicap division. Sounds complex? Here are the division details:    OPEN DIVISION 18 holes Saturday.  The championship flight (top 10 & ties) will qualify for a decisive 18 holes on Sunday.  Flighted tournament.  All play will be from the blue tees. (6,004 yds)  $25 entry fee + green fees.    SENIOR DIVISION (AGES 60+)  18 holes Saturday.  Flighted tournament. All play will be from the white tees. (5,602 yds) $25 entry fee + green fees.    LADIES DIVISION  18 holes Saturday.  Flighted tournament. All play will be from the red tees. (4,810 yds) $25 entry fee + green fees.    JUNIOR DIVISION (AGES 11-14) 9 holes Saturday.  Flighted tournament. All participants must walk.  All play will be from the red tees. (2,298 yds) $10 entry fee + green fees.    MEN'S HANDICAP DIVISION  *In addition to registration criteria, participants must have an established GHIN handicap and be 21 years of age.  36 holes with 18 on Saturday & 18 on Sunday.  Play will be from the blue tees. Ages 60+ may play the white tees. (handicap adjusted accordingly)  Players will have the opportunity to qualify for Soul Survivor.  $75 entry fee + green fees. (includes entry into open or senior division of the City Championship) _____________________________________________________________________________________________   All players will be able to select their tee time and playing partners for day 1 of the event. For those participating in day 2, tee times and pairings will be based on day 1 results and tournament standings.    Becasue of the relative complexity of this event, all registrations will be done online. Pro shop staff is available to help with registration in the pro shop if you encounter any issues. Though tournament registration will be made available online, all payment will be collected the day of the event. PLEASE PLAN TO PAY WITH CASH.   This is a Waverly Golf Tour event with all winnings counting towards the season long money list.
