Eagle Creek Golf Club   Player Profile In order to register for a NOGA Tournament, both players must have a Golf Genius Player Profile created.  Click Here to create your player profile if you don't have one already.   Doubles Golf State Championship Date: Saturday, October 10th at NCR Country Club   Format - 18-Hole Two-Person Scramble: All players will compete in both gross and net competitions. The gross competition will be used for Doubles Golf scoring and will determine qualification for the NOGA Doubles Golf Championship within each category.   The net competition will be conducted concurrently and will determine gift certificate winnings, which will be sent to the club selected by each player during registration. This portion of the tournament will resemble a normal NOGA net tournament.    Doubles Golf Divisions: A, B, and C Divisions. Divisions are based on Team Ratings determined by GHIN handicap index.   Doubles Golf Divisions Men's (two players ages 25 & older) Women's (two players ages 25 & older) Mixed (one male, one female ages 25 & older) Senior's (two players ages 60 or older)   Divisions are determined by: For Existing Doubles Golf Teams:  Their current team rating For New Doubles Golf Teams: Their team rating will be determined by their GHIN handicap at registration.   Advancement to the NOGA Doubles Golf Championship, State & National Championships: The number of qualifying spots and alternate spots will be determined once the field is set one week prior to the tournament. Teams will qualify for the NOGA Doubles Golf Championship at StoneWater Golf Club on Wednesday, September 2.    From the NOGA Doubles Golf Championship, the top two teams from each qualified category (Men's, Women, Mixed, and Senior) will advance to the State Championship. The Ohio Doubles Golf State Championship will be held on Saturday, October 10 at NCR Country Club.  Only Gross winners will advance to the Doubles Golf State Championship. Note: Only team's with an "A" rating in a qualified category will have the opportunity to advance from the Doubles Golf State Championship to the Doubles Golf National Championship.   More information can be found at https://www.doublesgolf.com/   Starting Times Click Here to view the starting times. Starting times will be posted a couple days after registration closes.   Registration Dates Opens: Wednesday, April 1 @ 7:00 a.m. Closes: Monday, April 27 @ 11:59 p.m.   Net Division 35% of Golfer A’s handicap (Lower handicap partner) and 15% of Golfer B’s handicap (Higher handicap partner) will be added together to calculate the team’s handicap for the round. If the difference in partner Playing Handicap is greater than 10 strokes, we will reduce the higher Playing Handicap so that the difference between partners Playing Handicap is 10 strokes.   Entry Fee $260/team: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls and gift certificates.   Field Size 100 Players (Subject to Change)   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players/teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   Tees and Yardages  Click Here to view the hole-by-hole yardages.    Eligibility Entries are open to any amateur golfer holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 25 years of age on or before the date of competition.   Policies NOGA Hard Card NOGA Pace of Play Policy Doubles Golf Conditions of Play   Gender Policy The Northern Ohio Golf Association follows the USGA's Gender Policy.   Schedule of Events - The practice area will open one hour before the first tee time. - Starting times will begin at 9:00 a.m. - Please arrive at the first tee 10 minutes before your starting time ready to play. - Lunch will not be provided.   Ties In the event that there is a tie for the Doubles Golf portion the tie will be broken by scorecard matching.   Pairings and Requests Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Two teams from the same club will not be paired together to keep the competition fair.   Gift Certificates During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason.
