9th Women's Ohio Mid-Amateur Championship

Firestone Country Club (Fazio Course)   Registration Process Registration will open on Wednesday, April 1 @ 7:00 a.m. and is open to female amateur golfers who are a resident of Ohio and have a Handicap Index of 18.0 or lower at any Ohio course. Mid-Amateur players must have reached their 25th birthday by Saturday, June 20, 2026.   Entry​ Procedure All registration will be online through Golf Genius. Once registration opens, a "Register For This Event" button will appear on the top right of this page. Players can click on that button to register for the tournament.   Entry Fees $385 for all players. The entry fee includes 54 holes of golf, range balls, tee gift, and prizes.   Format The Championship is 54 holes of individual stroke play (3 - 18 hole rounds)   Field Click Here to view the field. Starting times will begin at 2 p.m. each day. Starting Times will be posted a couple days after registration closes.   Code of Conduct WOSGA may reject an entry application, revoke an accepted application, expel from the Championship, and/or suspend a player from future championships if the player engages in conduct detrimental to the integrity and image of the game of golf and/or Club or member confidence in WOSGA. Such behavior may include, but is not limited to, damage to the golf course or the player's equipment, verbal or physical abuse of players, spectators, officials, volunteers, or staff, blatant or excessive profanity, disorderly behavior, failure to abide by club rules, violation of WOSGA's Sportsmanship Policy or any other unbecoming conduct. See WOSGA Conditions of Competition and Local Rules, effective January 1, 2026.   Completion of Play The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the Championship trophy has been presented.   Gender Policy The WOSGA follows the USGA's Gender Policy.   Withdrawal from the Championship Players must contact Sean Croell to withdraw from the Championship. If a player must withdraw during the competition the player must let an official know before leaving the course.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   Practice Privileges Players must contact the pro shop to schedule a practice round time at 330-725-6297. Contestants living within a 60-mile radius of the course are encouraged to arrange a practice round before Sunday, June 29, 2025.   Cart Policy There may only be two (2) carts per group. Caddies may ride with players as long as caddies do not take the seat of another player. If a caddie and a player wish to ride alone, they may do so with permission of the committee as long as they do not exceed the two cart per group rule.    Dress Code Players shall abide by the host cub's dress code. Failure to do so may result in a player's inability to be present on the property, which may lead to disqualification.
