Starting times will be posted a couple days after registration closes.   Registration Dates Opens: Thursday, August 22 @ 7:00 a.m. Closes: Thursday, September 5 @ 11:59 p.m.   Format 3 person scramble - Teams will form there best 3 person scramble team. Each player on the team plays from the tee. The best shot is chosen and each player on the team plays from that spot. Play continues until the ball is holed. Groups will be made into sixsomes (two 3-person teams) with 12 minute interval tee times.   All teams will play in both a net and gross division.   Entry Fee $375/team: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, & gift certificates.   Optional Skins Game $60/team optional skins will be collected via Venmo only on the day of the tournament. If no skins are won NOGA will go to the least tied holes. Players will Venmo @NOGA1917   Field Size 100 Players (Subject to Change) Groups will be made into sixsomes (two 3-person teams) with 12 minute interval tee times. Only 3 carts per group will be permitted and 1 player from each team will need to ride together.   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. CLICK HERE to see if your Club is listed.   Policies NOGA Hard Card   Gender Policy The Northern Ohio Golf Association follows the USGA's Gender Policy.   Schedule of Events - The practice area will open one hour before the first tee time. - Starting times will begin at 9:00 a.m. off #1. - Please arrive at the first tee 10 minutes before your starting time ready to play. - Lunch will not be provided.   Ties In the event that there is a tie, NOGA will retain the tie, unless otherwise noted in the specific tournaments terms of competition.   Pairings and Requests Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Two teams from the same club will not be paired together to keep the competition fair.   Gift Certificates During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.   The Course - Sleepy Hollow Golf Course The course was designed by Stanley Thompson, a member of the Royal Canadian Golf Hall of Fame. It opened in 1924 as a private country club on land leased from Cleveland Metroparks and was opened to public play in 1963. The course is set up as a classic "out and in" layout. The early holes on both nines play down hill and down the prevailing wind, therefore seeming shorter than the yardage indicates. The incoming holes play uphill and into the wind making them play surprisingly long.   It would be hard to find another course in Northeast Ohio where so many holes are praised for their aesthetic beauty as well as their challenge. Hole #2 is an impressive par 3 and with the tees back, it's a driver tee shot for all but the longest of hitters. Followed by the par 4 hole #3, which stretches 481 yards from the back tee. The back nine is shorter and more strategic. It features #14, a short par 5 and #17, a short par 4 which are both classic risk/reward holes!   Sleepy Hollow has been the site for many amateur and professional events including qualifying events for USGA championships and every other year hosting the Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship.
