Idaho Match Play Championship

Venue: Blackfoot Golf Course   Entry Fee: $275   Bracket Size by division: 16-player Men's division 16-player Men's Master-40 division 16-player Men's Senior division 8 player Men's Super Senior division 8 player Women's division 8 player Women's Senior division   Eligibility: IGA Member Amateur Golfers Only Males with an index of 12.0 or lower as of registration Senior males with an index of 15.0 or lower as of registration Females with an index of 40.4 or lower as of registration   Cancellation: All Cancellations are subject to a $25 maintenance fee Players who cancel before the close of registration will receive a full refund minus the $25 maintenance fee Players who cancel after the close of registration will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee Players who cancel on the day before round 1 or after will not receive a refund   FORMAT: Gross Match Play   HANDICAPS: Handicaps will only be used to certify qualification into the event.  The Low Handicap Index in the last 12 months will be used for this step.   IGA POLICIES: Players are responsible for knowing and abiding by all IGA policies during championships. Please see the above tab for the IGA Tournament Policies, IGA Hard Card and IGA Pace of Play Policy   NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL: A player who must withdraw before the tournament must notify the IGA office (208) 342-4442 or the Official In Charge at the site of the event. If a player does not show for an event or fails to follow the above procedure, the player will forfeit their entry fee and may be suspended from playing in future IGA Events.    REFUNDS: Refunds for any reason other than illness or new injury will not be issued for no shows/withdrawals after 4:00 p.m. MST on the eve before the Championship begins.  Requests for a refund due to illness or injury will be treated on a case-by-case basis and can include illness or injury of a spouse or child. All refunds will be subject to a $75.00 withdrawal fee.   PRIZES: The Champion of each Division will receive an IGA Crystal Trophy.  Payouts will be in the form of Gift Card/Golf Shop credit in the player’s name with the host club golf shop.   CADDIES: Caddies are permitted for this championship and are required to sign a liability waiver on the first tee in order to participate as a caddie in the event.     96 Player Max Field Size. Up to 4 additional players over the bracket size below will be accepted before registration closes. After registration closes, any spots unused in a division up to the 96 total field size, will be granted to players on the waitlist on a first-come first-served basis. The event will be 1 stroke play round, followed by a single elimination Match Play bracket Round 1 on day 1, will be a stroke play seeding round for all divisions; players will be competing for seed into the brackets as well as to make it into match play if there are more players than the bracket size Ties for the final qualifying spot(s) into match play will be broken by a sudden death playoff immediately following play.  All players eliminated from contention after the stroke play round will receive a $100 refund All 16 player brackets will play two rounds on day 2, and two rounds on day 3 All 8 player brackets will play two rounds on day 2, and 1 round on day 3 There will be a 3rd place consolation match played only in 16-player brackets that start with at least 12 players
