Scotch Pines GC is hosting a 1 day, 4 Person Scramble. The Chili Dipper Scramble is a season ending event combining a four person scramble, a chili cook off, and a Boise State Football game viewing party. It will be an 11:00 AM shotgun start with a $250 per team entry fee. Carts and range balls are extra. The Scramble portion of the event will have both Gross and Net payoffs. USGA handicaps are preferred. Team handicap will be 10% of the total of the team member’s handicaps. There will be closest to the pin contests on all four par three holes. The chili cook off is a small contest as well. Bring your best crock pot of chili and enter it in the cook off. The players will be doing the tasting and will then determine the winners with their votes and there will be a prize for the winner as well. It has always been a fun time for all involved and some fabulous chilis have been entered and sampled. We only ask that the early finishers try to leave enough chili for the late finishers to have a chance to sample the chili. After the tournament and after (or during) the chili samplng, Scotch Pines will be hosting a watch party for the Boise State football game at Colorado State. The game begins at 4:00 PM and there will be multiple TV sets available to watch. Drink specials will be available and the combination of events should make for a super fun day at Scotch Pines.
