2026 SCSO GOLF SEASON

2026 SCSO Golf Team – League Schedule and Format     The SCSO monthly tournaments will take place from June through October. All events will use an 18‑hole net stroke play format.   Monthly Tournament Schedule: • June Tournament – Swan Lake Golf Club • July Tournament – Pine Hills Golf Club • August Tournament – Cherry Creek Golf Club • September Tournament – West Sayville Golf Course • October Tournament – Hampton Hills Country Club (Player of the Year Tournament)   How it works: • Members may play their monthly tournament round any day between the 1st and last day of the month,with the exception of the Player of the Year Tournament, which is held on a specific date. • Each round must be played with at least one other SCSO Team Member. • Players will keep score using the Golf Genius App, entering actual scores only. • Each month, players will receive an email containing that month’s GGID, which must be used to access the event in Golf Genius. • Do not calculate your own net score—Golf Genius will handle all handicap and net scoring. • A physical scorecard is recommended as backup in case of discrepancies. • USGA rules govern all play. • Each member may submit one round per month for scoring.   Points & Results: • 20 participation points are awarded each month to every player who completes and submits a round. • Additional Player of the Year points will be awarded to the top 20 finishers each month. • Final results will be released on the 1st day of the following month.   Player of the Year Tournament: • The 2026 Player of the Year Tournament will take place on October 8, 2026, not during the open play window. • Location: Hampton Hills Country Club.
