A player with a Handicap Index of 18.1 or higher at the time of entry is not eligible to compete. d) Eligibility: See Regulation 1 of the General Regulations e) Size of Field: 54 f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries g) Form of Play: Stroke Play h) No. of Rounds: Two – one round on each day of the Championship i) Cut: Top 30 plus ties after one round   IRISH UNDER-16 BOYS’ AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP a) Age Group: Under-16 Boys as set out in Regulation 1.2 of the General Regulations b) Gender: Male c) Handicap: Maximum Handicap Index of 14.0.
