Mohawk Golf & Country Club   REGISTRATION Opens: Monday, June 19, 7:00 a.m. Closes: Monday, July 3, 11:59 p.m.   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players/teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   ENTRY FEE $230.00/Team - Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf for, cart, range balls, and gift certificates   POLICIES NOGA Hard Card    REFUND POLICY Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.   ELIGIBILITY Entries are open to any amateur golfer, male or female, holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. In Chapman or Pinehurst stroke play, two players play as partners, each partner plays from the teeing ground and plays the partner's ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play that ball alternately to complete the hole.   All teams will compete against each other in one division with a net and gross component.   Handicap Allocation 60% of the low handicap and 40% of the high handicap will be used to calculate the team's handicap for the round.   SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Monday, July 10, 2023 - The practice area will open 1 hour before the first starting time. - Starting times will begin at 10 a.m. - Please arrive to the first tee 10 minutes before your scheduled tee time ready to play. - Lunch will not be provided.   FIELD SIZE 60 Players. If the event is full, players can still register and be placed on the Waiting List. Players will NOT be charged until they have been moved from the Waiting List to the Tournament Roster.   YARDAGES - Players will be placed on the following tees based off of their age Men (19-54) - 6,400 Yards Men (55-64) - 6,000 Yards Men (65+) - 5,800 Yards Women (19-54) - 5,500 Yards Women (55+) - 5,100 Yards   PAIRINGS & REQUESTS Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Groups with two teams from the same club will not be permitted to keep the competition fair.   GIFT CERTIFICATES During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to.
