Scotch Pines GC is hosting a 1 day, 27 hole event combining three different formats for two person teams. Holes 1-9 will utilize a Best Ball format, while holes 10-18 will use a Team Scramble format. The third 9-hole round will be a Modified Alternate Shot format and the team’s flight will determine whether that takes place on the front nine or the back nine. Entry fee is $100 per player with carts and range balls extra. The tournament will begin with a 10:00 AM shotgun start. USGA handicaps are a requirement. Please do not try to enter if you do not have an active GHIN handicap index. There will be maximum 10 stroke differential between team members with the higher handicap index being adjusted to reach the maximum spread. The Best Ball format will utilize 100% of each players’ playing handicap, the Scramble will use 20% of the teams’ combined handicaps and the Alternate Shot portion will use 50% of the combined team’s handicaps. An “on the go” lunch will be provided upon completion of the initial 18 holes of play. Call the shop at 208-642-1829 to sign up today. Paid entries are encouraged when you call in.
