Starting times will be posted a couple days after registration closes.   Registration Dates Opens: Wednesday, June 4 @ 7:00 a.m. Closes: Wednesday, June 18 @ 11:59 p.m.   Format Net Stroke Play. Each player competes against all other players in the field. The net score is the player's score for the hole. 95% of the players handicap will be used. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions, by the NOGA Hard Card and the terms of competition. Rule 1.3B states that players are responsible for applying the rules to themselves.   Round The round will be 9 holes.   Entry Fee $50: Entry fee includes 9 holes of golf, cart, & gift certificates.   Optional Skins Game $20/player optional skins will be collected via Venmo only on the day of the tournament. If no skins are won NOGA will go to the least tied holes. Players will Venmo @NOGA1917   New This Year - Five Iron Golf Closest to the Pin Challenge Whoever hits the par-three tee shot closest on a select hole will be able to entertain friends or family for a fun trip to Five Iron Golf — at the Euclid Avenue downtown Cleveland location or at any location nationwide!   The $250 Five Iron gift certificate can be used for simulator time, food and beverages, club rentals, or lessons. The only thing it can't be used toward are memberships or club fitting. Plus, there is no expiration date on these gift certificates, so the winners can use them whenever they wish! This prize will go a long way to creating a great day trip or fun evening out.   Field Size 60 Players (Subject to Change)   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players/teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   Tees and Yardages Click Here to view the hole by hole yardages. Yardages are subject to change based on the course and weather conditions on the day of the tournament.   Men - TBD Women - TBD   Eligibility Entries are open to any amateur golfer holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. Click Here to see if your Club is listed.   Policies NOGA Hard Card Handicap Adjustment Policy NOGA Pace of Play Policy   Gender Policy The Northern Ohio Golf Association follows the USGA's Gender Policy.   Schedule of Events - There is no driving range only a practice area. - Starting times will begin at 12:45 p.m. off #1 in groups of 4 in 12 minute intervals. - Please arrive at the first tee 10 minutes before your starting time ready to play. - Lunch will not be provided.   Ties In the event that there is a tie, NOGA will retain the tie, unless otherwise noted in the specific tournaments terms of competition.   Pairings and Requests Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Players all from the same club will not be paired together to keep the competition fair.   Gift Certificates During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.
