NOGA Tournament of Champions

Starting times will be posted on Friday, September 20 and begin around 1:00 p.m.    Registration Dates Invitation Only   Format 18-hole individual stroke play in which players compete against each other in one division. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions, by the NOGA Hard Card and the terms of competition. Rule 1.3B states that players are responsible for applying the rules to themselves.   Entry Fee $125: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, & gift certificates.   Optional Skins Game $20/player optional skins will be collected via Venmo only on the day of the tournament. If no skins are won NOGA will go to the least tied holes. Players will Venmo @NOGA1917   Field Size Limited to the first 12 Men's Club Champions, 12 Senior Men's Club Champions, and 12 Women's Club Champions.   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players/teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   Divisions Club Champions Senior Club Champions Women's Club Champions   Tees and Yardages Click Here to view the hole-by-hole yardages. Yardages are subject to change based on the course and weather conditions on the day of the tournament.   Championship Division: NOGA Black - TBD Senior Division: NOGA White - TBD Women's Division: NOGA Green - TBD   Eligibility Entries are open to any amateur golfer who has won the club championship, senior club championship, or women’s club championship at the club they have their GHIN through that is conducted by the head golf professional or club administrator. Players must have an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. Click here to see if your Club is listed.   Policies NOGA Hard Card NOGA Pace of Play Policy   Schedule of Events - The practice area will open one hour before the first tee time. - Starting times will begin at 12:30 p.m. - Please arrive at the first tee 10 minutes before your starting time ready to play. - Lunch will not be provided.   Playoff There will be a sudden death playoff immediately following the completion of play if there is a tie for 1st place in the Championship or Senior division.   Pairings and Requests Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Players all from the same club will not be paired together to keep the competition fair.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.   The Course - The Country Club The William Flynn design is situated on 240 acres of rolling terrain with a brook that runs through the middle of the course. Generous fairways provide room for the novice while, at the same time, offering strategic options for the highly skilled player. In typical Flynn fashion, the golf course is defended at the green with bunker placements dictating how one plays their approach shot.
