2025 GOLFBC GROUP BC WOMEN’S OPEN (36-HOLES - AMATEURS 4.1 to 26.0)

4th Annual GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open Nicklaus North Golf Course (Whistler) 36-Hole Flighted Event (4.1 to 26.0 & Seniors) June 5-6th, 2025     36-HOLE TOURNAMENT CRITERIA We are excited to announce the criteria for the 4th Annual GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open, set to be staged at the world-renowned Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler, BC. You are registering for the 36-Hole Championship for Senior amateurs (55+) and Amateurs with official indexes from 4.1 to 26.0.  If you are a Professional or Amateur with an index 4.0 or less, please register on the 54-Hole Championship event page HERE.   EVENT DETAILS 36-Hole Flighted Championship (June 5-6th) Open to Senior Amateurs (55+years) & golfers with a handicap index of 4.1 to 26.0. The max field for this event is 40 players Registration opens Thursday, March 6th, 2025. The Tournament Committee will begin approving registrations at such a time and begin processing entry fees on March 15th for those players with priority consideration. The final field will be set on May 22nd, 2025. Priority entry will be given to 2023 & 2024 BC Women’s Open competitors and until April 15th, 2025.   Can I still register if I do not meet any of the priority consideration requirements?   Yes!  Players who do not meet any of the requirements for priority consideration are encouraged to register as early as possible using the registration link on the main tournament page which will be open on March 6th, 2025. If the field is not full by April 15th with players with priority considerations, we will fill the field with all remaining players on pending list. The final field will be set on May 22nd, 2025.   International players (permanent home residence outside Canada) are welcome to apply.   Please refer to the following gender policy for further criteria on eligibility https://www.lpga.com/gender-policy.     TOURNAMENT ENTRY INCLUDES Live scoring on golf genius Golf Canada officiating Reduced pricing offered at the tournament host hotel (Crystal Lodge). Details TBA. Awards for Gross & Net Champions in each flight $50 Nicklaus North gift card per player for Food and Beverage  Amazing Draw Prizes!!   $50/player allocated to prize purse ($2,000 in prize purse based on full field) Player’s package includes welcome gifts valued at $200 One complimentary practice round per player on June 4th. Guaranteed two competitive rounds at Nicklaus North Whistler on June 5-6th.   36-HOLE EVENT PRIZE PURSE (Seniors & 4.1 to 26.0 hdcp)   THREE DIVISIONS: Alternating gross and net results will be used to determine prize pay-outs within each division: Senior Division (55+ years as of June 5th) Two Handicap Divisions (4.1 to 26.0) divided equally between non-senior field. Top 25% of each Division will earn gift card prizing. Winners will be emailed a gift card code for the amount of their gift card value and how to redeem their winnings. Players will have until Oct.30th, 2025 to redeem their gift cards through the VGT store at www.myvgt.com.    ENTRY FEE 36-Hole Event Amateur entry Fee: $395 plus GST ($414.75)   WITHDRAWAL POLICY Players are reminded to be aware of the policies and procedures outlined on the VGT site HERE. There is a $50+GST admin fee for processing any withdrawals after May 23rd, and up until May 29th. After May 29th, any withdrawals will be subject to a full loss of tournament entry.
