LEINSTER UNDER-14 BOYS’ AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP Closing date Extended - 15/06/2025 11:59 PM Please note that the Terms of Competition below must be read in conjunction with the General Regulations for Golf Ireland Competitions available online and in print in the GOLF IRELAND HANDBOOK. a) Age Group: Boys (Under 14) as set out in Regulation 1.2 of the General Regulations b) Gender: Male c) Handicap: Max Handicap Index at time of entry is 18.0 d) Eligibility: See Regulation 1 of the General Regulations e) Size of Field: 102 f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries and in addition up to 6 Leinster (home club) players who entered but do not qualify may be invited to play, by the Championship Committee, providing they are within 2.0 strokes of the handicap cut at the close of entry g) Form of Play: Stroke Play (18 Holes) h) Ties: Sudden death playoff in the event of a tie for the Championship, In accordance with Regulation 8.1 of the General Regulations i) Caddies: Caddies are permitted once they meet the age eligibility criteria set out for the competition.
