March 21st NCGA 4-Ball Qualifier

Hello There,   Welcome to the March 21st Weekend Tournament Registration.   This is the NCGA 4-Ball Qualifier (2 person best ball team).  You do not need to be playing in the qualifier portion to play this event.  This event is open to all AHGC members, however, to qualify you must have played in at least two Ancil Hoffman Golf Club events in the last 12 months. We are charging a $10 qualifier fee if you want to qualify.  Please find a partner and both decide if you want to qualify.   Qualifiers will need to play a second site and qualify out of that site to make it to Poppy Hills. The second site dates and Courses are:   Sunnyside (Fresno)  Apr 21 Haggin Oaks (Sacramento)  Apr 22 Metropolitan (Oakland)  Apr 23 Hunter Ranch (Paso Robles)  Apr 27 Foxtail (Rohnert Park)  Apr 27 Coyote Creek (San Jose)  Apr 29 Spanos Park (Stockton)  Apr 29 Del Monte (Monterey)  Apr 30   The Finals are held at Poppy Hills on May 18th and 19th.   If you qualified last year you must change your team this year to qualify.   Handicaps will be determined from the March 15, 2026 GHIN and AHGC Tournament Index reports, we will take the lower of the two. Next we apply 85% to that handicap and that is what you will play to for the competition. Further for qualifying purposes only, we are limiting (just as NCGA does) the maximum index for males is 18.4 and females is 25.4.  If you index is above that it will be limited for handicap purposes.   For the whole field, normal indexes will calculate but still be at 85%. Net skins will be capped to a total of 32 strokes as well. There will not be Ancil Points for this event.   We will have two Flights (A & B). We will send three total teams to the second site qualifiers.  Lowest best ball team overall (either flight) then the top team from each flight.    There will NOT be a Super Skins for this tournament.   FEES: Greens Fee:  $55 Tournament Fee:  $25 Cart Rental (optional):  $20 Gross Skins (optional):  $5 Net Skins (optional):  $5 Qualifier (optional):  $10   TEES: Women play from the BLACK TEES Men play from the COMBO TEES   For payouts, because this is a team event there will be no GROSS payouts, just NET payouts and will be proportional to the size of the field.   There is a 48 Hour Cancellation Policy in effect for all Weekend Tournaments.   Please use the Register button at the top right of this page or at the bottom of this page.   Thank you,   Steve "Moose" Reeder AHGC Weekend Tournament Director
