Shady Hollow Country Club   Player Profile In order to register for a NOGA Tournament, both players must have a Golf Genius Player Profile created.  Click Here to create your player profile if you don't have one already.   Starting Times Pairings will be made by NOGA after the close of entries, and players will be notified of their starting times by e-mail no more than 72 hours before the tournament. Click Here to view the starting times.   Registration Dates: Opens: Wednesday, April 29 @ 7:00 a.m. Closes: Wednesday, May 13 @ 11:59 p.m.   Eligibility Entries are open to any amateur golfer holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® of 5.4 or lower at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Professionals are not allowed to play in this tournament. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition.    Handicap Limit All Scratch Series tournaments are open to players with a handicap index of 5.4 or lower.   Format Four-Ball Stroke Play. Two players compete together as a side, each playing their own ball. The lower score of the two players is the sides score for that hole. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions, by the NOGA Hard Card and the terms of competition. Rule 1.3B states that players are responsible for applying the rules to themselves.   The competition will be played as 2 - 9 hole rounds to ensure an appropriate completion of competition.    Entry Fee $250: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, & gift certificates. $330: Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, gift certificates, and match play fee.   Optional Skins Game $40/team optional skins will be collected via Venmo only on the day of the tournament. If no skins are won NOGA will go to the least tied holes. Players will Venmo @NOGA1917   Field Size 100 Players Max   Waiting List In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available team(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.   Divisions Championship Division (Ages 19 - 54) Senior Division (55-64) Super Senior Division (65+)   New This Year: A Super Senior Division has been added for players 65 years or older. If the match is not played by the deadline the result of the match will go to a coin flip in order to not shorten the next round of matches. Round of 32 - Sunday, June 21 Round of 16 - Sunday, July 12 Quarterfinals - Sunday, August 2 Semifinals - Sunday, August 23 Finals - Sunday, September 13   Ties In the event that there is a tie, NOGA will retain the tie, unless otherwise noted in the specific tournaments terms of competition.   Pairings and Requests Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Two teams from the same club will not be paired together to keep the competition fair.   Gift Certificates Gift Certificates will be awarded following play. Each player will choose which club they would like their gift certificate sent to at registration. Please allow 2-3 weeks for gift certificates to show up at the chosen club.   Refund Policy Players will have up to 3 days (72 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 3 days (72 hours) after the registration closing date.   The Course - Shady Hollow Country Club Established in 1925, Shady Hollow is a picturesque hidden gem in Northeast Ohio.
