May 7 Midweek

Use this form to register for the May 7, 2026 Midweek Tournament at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course.     All active members of the Ancil Hoffman Golf Club are eligible for this event, which is an individual net stroke play format and a postable tournament.  Players need to putt out and finish every hole.   The tournament fee is $25 per player.  Men will play Blue/White Combo tees, women will play Black tees.   This event is also the second of two Midweek Tournaments that comprise the 2026 Wayne Parsell Senior Net Championship (the first was held April 9), wherein the player aged 55 and over with the lowest aggregate net score over the two rounds will be crowned as the champion.  Players must have played in four prior AHGC tournaments in the past twelve months  to qualify for the championship, and USGA tiebreaker rules will apply in case of a tie. Other than play for the championship, this tournament is a stand-alone event (you can play if you didn't participate on April 9).   Net flights will be calculated based on the number of entries in order to even out the number of players per flight.     Handicapping will be based on the lower of the player's Tournament Index (TI) versus the NCGA handicap (GHIN), as reported in the May 1, 2026 revision report.   Scorecards will be provided indicating players with their corresponding handicap and flight within each foursome.  We are also using live mobile scoring through the Golf Genius app for each foursome.  Please record your individual gross scores per hole.   Individual Gross and Net Skins will be available for this tournament at $5 each.  Handicaps will be  limited to an index of 32 for net skins.   Ancil Points, a year competition available in various Thursday and Saturday club tournaments, is also available in this event at $5 per player per tournament.    Marshals receive their discounted rates for Thursday tournaments, choosing either use of player pass, $10 to walk, or $20 to ride.  Marshals should mark "no" to the prompt of renting a cart for $20.   Measuring devices are acceptable for distance only.   Play ready golf.  Your position on the course is directly behind the group in front of you.   There is a 48 Hour Cancellation Policy in effect for all Thursday Tournaments   Doug Olson AHGC Midweek Tournament Director dolson0513@comcast.net
